Regular, please, with two sugars

Here's the Times obit for the originator of the Anthora, the once ubiquitous neo-classical New York take-out coffee cup. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/30/nyregion/30buck.html?src=me&ref=general

Whenever I think of New York's Greek diners and coffee shops I am reminded of Tom Waits, who once said:
"I lived in New York for a year, and ate every meal under the Parthenon.

  1. I saw this in the NY Times, love these coffee cups. Have the ones at the Moma where they are actually ceramic. Great day yesterday in the city. Glad you will be there to show us around as the village is quite a little place!!
